I was very pleased when I put this together. It comes with everything you need for assembly which is a plus. I like the quality and the color.When I first assembled it, my 3 cats loved it. They were always laying on it enjoying the height.Then one day, they suddenly stopped using it. I wondered why. I would place a cat on it and they would almost immediately jump off. They would land on the floor hard and then I realized they were hurting their paws jumping down onto my hard floor.I haven’t tried this yet, but I think if I put some step down shelves like a chair or something it may get them back on this again.In my opinion this may be too steep causing my cats to jump from the higher levels rather than step down to jump off from a lower height.They did play with the balls, but I never saw them use the scratching ramp. I have 2 scratching posts on each side of my couch and they use them all the time so I’m thinking it’s the design they disapprove of.With a step down platform next to it I believe this would be a great product, however, it is steep and I would not recommend this if you have a fat cat.
