I'm 6'4" and 270 #'s and I never once felt unsafe sleeping in these for 4 consecutive nights. Once they are set up and attached to your tree's, they are very solid ! Very comfortable. Be sure to watch some vids on how to use the tree straps so you dont fall ! My first set up of hammock, rain fly took about an hour, but I would bet the next time would take me 15 minutes tops now that I know what I need to do.The very brief directions I feel are off with stating a 8-12 foot distance for your tree spread unless you are a small person. If you are hanging from a monstrous tree with a large diameter maybe 12' would work, but if you hang on say a 6-8 inch diameter tree the first loop to connect your hammock to is almost on the ground I feel like a minimum of 15 feet would be a better starting point because the tree straps are so long(good thing). The company does have excellent customer service. Amazon shorted me my rain fly and stakes 3 days before I was leaving, but the company stepped up and got them to me in time before I left. Cant thank them enough ! They will take care of any issues.Small things I really liked. The quick clip into tree strap, Rainfly is nice, big and super light, and then the ridge lines that hold up your bug net are FLEXIBLE ! which is great so you dont tear things. as you sink down into your hammock, the flexible ridge lines stretch and keep your bug net at a the height you need instead of being pulled down by your weight in the hammock which may put stress on the zipper. The only con to this is that hanging things on the inside of the bug net (lantern/fan) will drop down the top of the bug net quite a bit vs a non flexible ridgeline.Overall, I cant wait to try this again and I hope each time is just as trouble free as the first :) I was super skeptical, but after doing it one time changed my mindset.I had a great experience with this hammock on my first camping trip, with two caveats mostly due to my own choices. One: as is common with camping hammocks (from what I've read) the material of the hammock is thin. That means be prepared for a cold butt and a lot of bug bites on your back if you don't use a blanket or under quilt. I had an extra blanket specifically to line the hammock but one of the other campers in my group forgot their sleeping bag and needed it more. So I had to make due with just the one blanket. I was able to maneuver things well enough to get by but I still ended up a bit chilly. Still, from what I've read this is pretty common with hammocks and not the fault of this one.I had a lot of trouble with the rainfly and ended up with a small bit of a leak that made it impossible for me to comfortably stay in the hammock on my second night during a storm. I think with more practice I'll be able to figure it out but a guide line would have made things a lot easier (and drier!).The material was frayed a bit in spots but nothing more than cosmetic damage. It held up great during two days of use in the woods and getting drenched in a heavy storm. I'll be taking this camping with me next year—assuming I get the rainfly figured out!Instructions were minimal but hammock setup was straightforward. I like this package in that it contained everything you need for hammock camping (hammock, integrated bug net, waterproof rain fly, tree straps, guy wires, stakes, bags, etc.I've used it for two nights so far and all was well. Going kayak camping this weekend where it is going to be in the low 30's at night. A pad between hammock and sleeping bag is a must. I'm glad I made this purchase. $53 is a nice price point and the quality is definitely good.We really liked this hammock. The only downside is there are no instructions what-so-ever. If we hadn't bought two different brands to test out I would have had no real idea of how to set this up. With that being said setup was still pretty easy. I didn't know you could pull the bottom of the hammock out with string like the gentleman in the video did and that was our biggest complaint. There is so much material bunched up once you are in it, expanding it out would have helped a lot. Overall it was very comfortable. I suggest blankets instead of sleeping bags as it makes it easier to more around without waking yourself up. I didn't get overly cold even though it gets cold at night where we camped. The only thing I can suggest is please put instructions in so first time hammock buyers know what they are doing. DEFINITELY worth the money. When we need another one this will be the one we buy.The hammock itself is super durable and insanely comfortable! It even kept me much warmer than I was expecting. My only gripe, and it's not even enough to lower my rating, is the bug net. It goes over the hammock like a sock, and the zipper runs vertically down the middle. So getting in and out is a challenge every time. It would have been much easier if the zipper ran horizontal.I have used the Hammock 2x now. I waited to review until I could give an accurate review. Quality = 5 Stars. Weight = 4 stars. Budget = 5 stars. Accessories = 4 stars. (could use better tie down anchors). Instructions = 2 stars. (YouTubed how to install and use anchor leads).I have recommended this for all my friends to use for camping. I am not sponsored by Easthills but would gladly take on anything they offer! This is a great hammock system for someone new to backpacking kayaking or a new hammock camper. The Easthills Outdoors jungle hammock includes everything you need to get started with a complete warm weather shelter and sleep system made of quality materials. If your looking for a versatile budget hammock system look no further! This hammock has the option to remove the bugnet if it's not needed, easy daisy chain style strap system, a hefty weight capacity at 600 pounds and I really like the internal gear pockets for storage which most hammocks don't come without buying additional upgrades.I would recommend this great starter hammock to anyone!I did quite a bit research on hammocks before buying one. Either you love them or hate them, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money to find out I hated it. I also didn't want to buy something so cheap that I would hate it without giving it a fair try. Hours of reviews and videos later, I landed on this product. I'm extremely happy with the quality. This hammock is worth many times what I paid for it.Update Sep 22/2020:I slept two nights in the woods, the first night was cold (3C / 37F). I used a sleeping pad in it and was very comfortable. The next night was warm and humid (16C / 60F) and rained heavily. The netting blocks wind effectively, which was great in the cold, so I left it open and was comfortable. The tarp kept me dry. I was able to pack up all my gear, and then the tarp last, keeping all my gear dry.Hanging this properly is key to a good sleep. I highly recommend the book "The Ultimate Hang" by Derek Hansen.I still believe this hammock is great value. I'm never going back to a tent! This hammock is exactly what I’ve been searching for! Being a double hammock it’s heavier than single hammocks but it makes up for in comfort and quality materials. The hammock needs to be aired out outside before use as the packaging creates a fishy smell but disappears once it’s been used. The rain fly is fairly easy to attach and is large enough to protect from the weather during moderate rainfallIf you’re looking for a 2-person hammock or a bigger hammock for lounging/camping this is definitely the one!Rainfly that was supposed to be included was not in the package. Disappointing. Will set it up and see if the base hammock is ok. Have to see about finding a rainfly I guess. OK, so set it up. It's ok, not great - just ok. But the absence of the promised rainfly and associate hardware is more than disappointing. Certainly limits the use I was hoping for. If all the parts had been shipped I'm sure it would be fine.Great Hammack, I would'nt say that you can be 2 people to sleep in it (not very comfortable). Also, I slept when the temperature was below 15°C and I felt cold under me. I would recommend to buy an underquilt. Very easy to assemble and the distance wich the trees need to be is also very good (I was stunned by how far it could go). Very lightweight. I would recommend.Had this product for the entire 2020 season, and got great use out of it!The bug net system works really well for the price (I did spend $10 on making some spacers to make it a bit more roomy), and the hammock is comfortable and roomy. I wouldn't sleep 2 people in it, but definitely for laying down it works. The rain fly worked very well regardless of orientation, holding up under some decent strength winds and rain. I did end up snagging the hammock on a branch while packing it up once, ripping a whole in it. For the rest of the season a duct tape patch held it together, until I contacted support and got some excellent advice for a more permanent solution! It may not be the fanciest hammock money can buy, but it is a steal at this price for an all-in-one system!
