Step 2 - Loop Loop the logo end of the strap through one of the loops on the other end. Tighten around the tree. "What's the safest way to get into my hammock?" 1. Stand with your hammock directly behind you. 2. Open your hammock with both hands. 3. Sit down in your hammock, slowly. 4. Swivel your legs in gently one at a time. Now lean back, relax and enjoy! 2. "What's the best hanging height?" 18 inches from the ground is usually good for easily getting in and out. If your hammock feels too low, try using a higher loop in the straps or adjust the height of your straps on the tree. 3. "What's the ideal tree distance for hanging?" 12 to 20 feet is ideal. If your trees are too close together, loop the straps around the tree more than once, or try another 1 of the 10 connecting loops on your tree straps to adjust the tension. 4. "How do I safety test that it's ready to use?" 1. Grab the fabric in your hands and push down firmly. It should feel secure. 2. Pull on the tree straps. Make sure they're on snug and tight. 3.
