Step 2 - Loop Loop the rope around the tree and through the knot hoop. Pull the rope to tighten around the tree. Step 3 - Clip Make another new knot hoop using the rope hanging from the tree. Clip your carabiner to it. Step 4 - Hang Repeat on both sides and hang your hammock. Now sit back, relax and enjoy! Should I upgrade from ropes to hammock straps? Ropes are a classic choice and very satisfying to use. Step-by-step instructions are included with your hammock too. But if you prefer convenience, our tree straps get you hanging fastest and easiest. Add straps 2. "What's the safest way to get into my hammock?" 1. Stand with your hammock directly behind you. 2. Open your hammock with both hands. 3. Sit down in your hammock, slowly. 4. Swivel your legs in gently one at a time. Now lean back, relax and enjoy! 3. "What's the ideal tree distance for hanging?" 12 to 20 feet is ideal. If your trees are too close together, you can adjust your rope height/tension, or upgrade to our easy-hang tree straps with 10 connecting loops for easy adjustment. Add Straps 4.
