This hammock is 13.5” x 13.5” - great size for a large guinea pig or 2 smaller ones. durable straps that adjust for placement. Nylon type material on colored side, with fleece material on grey side. Nice size Hooks (that close) for hanging. This is a no brainer purchase. Could use for Rabbits, Ferrets, or any animal around that size.Perfect little spot for my pigs to nestle down, and I love how easy it is to hand wash with a little kitchen soap. Hang to dry.My guinea pigs were a little hesitant on using it at first, as they are with all new things. But once they gave it a chance they love it! They hop up in it and lounge the day away. Washed well the one time I've washed it so far. Washed it in a garment bag so the clips didn't dent my washer or drier.The hammock is very sturdy, quite large, and overall high quality. We were hoping to make this our Summer hammock, but unfortunately our two boys (rats) didn't like it. We left it in the cage for a couple of weeks without their favorite hammocks i, but they would just sleep on the floor of the cage. My impression was that they didn't like the rustling noise of the plastic fabric.The only thing I do not like about these is even though the straps are adjustable they they still lay flat in my cage They don't look like hammocks but the Guinea pigs still like them. The adjustable straps just need to be a little bit longerMy three chinchillas are confused about what this is for lol. They bite it and play with it. I will give it some more time and see if they use it. Regardless i think it looks great in the cage.Giving 5 stars because the quality and everything about it is great.
