Seems to be a duplicate of the last one I had that lasted me 23years before failing. And the failure was my fault for leaving it out in rain and other weather. Got moldy and strands began breaking. Kids jumping on it didn’t help.Tried several which all came from China. This one is American and far and above the others! Definitely a keeper!! Thick rope and good knots. Comfortable for one. It is really a high quality item.It was just what I was looking for and fit my “shorter” stand, which was very hard to find. We are very happy with it. I think the durability will be good, whereas the cheaper ones ate not.I’ve tried several hammocks but this is the best. Wide and well made.when it was delivered the box width looked to small...did not open...measured again...shipped back...will order the larger Hatteras Hammock in a few weeks..this is a replacement hammock...1st one did great for almost 15 yrs...you get what you pay in quality.This is my second Hatteras Hammock. We loved the first one and probably got 5-6 years of service from as it sat outside on our deck. It's the only size (small) available which fits our metal stand. It's very well made and very comfortable. I've had some great naps in it!My teenage daughter wanted a hammock for her birthday. After shopping around I found this to be the best quality choice for the money. It arrived promptly from the seller. The hammock had all necessary hardware and was super easy to install. It appears to be well made, is attractive & very comfortable. This would make an excellent wedding gift!
