The chain for hanging the hammock was a bit short and it could have used an additional six inches to fit the base that I have. I Just added the removable chain that I had from my previous hammock. The photo shows the chain that came with the hammock wrapped around the ring. It cannot be removed unless you get a special tool to cut the chain. Overall happy with the purchase. I did not purchase the base with the hammock as I had it from a previous purchase.The material & construction of hardware made this product a good buy. We do not leave it out in the rain & expect it to last a long time.Great discount price because mine was missing the pillow, BUT it was easy enough to make my own with left over material from another project & some batting material. The chain was a little short for the area between my tree and shed, but a trip to Lowe’s to buy a few additional leaks fixed that problem. My husband bolted them together. I’m sure on a standard hammock stand it would stretch out just fine. The color and pattern really compliment my existed umbrella and swinger cushions. I am more than pleased especially for 1/2 price!!I researched several hammocks before finally deciding on this one. Boy am I glad I settled on this one! It really is nice. Sturdy, comfortable, I like the color selection. It doesn't come with tree straps, but I already had some Atlas brand ones. I highly recommend to them. And I also upgraded the "S" hooks that came with the hammock with sturdier carabiners that I also found on Amazon. They hold like 800 lb or something. My wife and I aren't the smallest people in the world but it holds both of us without giving the impression like it's going to come crashing to the ground. We have left it in the rain a couple times but it dries out quickly. I have started bringing it in every night now to keep it in good shape. Bottom line, it's a very nice hammock at a very good price. The wife loves it which is priceless ?Very comfortable. Soft and sturdy. I am really pleased as it was really simple to install, very sturdy and love the fabric- is soft and comfortable.. wide enough for 2 people .All my accessories on my patio are aqua & blue. Within 3 weeks of putting it out, it sun bleached to purple and pink tones. Pics of before and after.To be transparent, I haven't actually used it yet. Too cold outside right now but I have opened it and checked it out. It is nice and wide, strong contraction and good quality material. The only negative so far is the pillow. It is only half the width of the hammock and is very flat. We'll have to open it up and add some stuffing. J’avais un autre hamac similaire dans le passé d’une autre marque et je le laissais dehors mais il a taché. Donc je préserve mon achat.This item looks good and seems well put together but once hung the strings stretch you re adjust they stretch again then see the eyeholes fray a little bit.Such a shame I can’t use my hammock any more only lasted a week, the chain broke it should be made with a better quality chain. Considering the price.
