We were hoping to make this our Summer hammock, but unfortunately our two boys (rats) didn't like it. We left it in the cage for a couple of weeks without their favorite hammocks i, but they would just sleep on the floor of the cage. My impression was that they didn't like the rustling noise of the plastic fabric.My guinea pigs were a little hesitant on using it at first, as they are with all new things. But once they gave it a chance they love it! They hop up in it and lounge the day away. Washed well the one time I've washed it so far.
