This is a highly specialized extremely lightweight and durable hyperstatic cord designed for retrieving a single lead climbing rope after a rappel or for hauling a pack. The sheath is textured to allow for better grip ability. Made with high-modulus polyethylene for extreme abrasion resistance. Works with most Petzl ascenders and progress-capture pulleys. Its more rigid construction make it easier to throw while setting up for rappels. This is not to be used as a lead climbing rope. This is not to be used for rappelling on directly, but instead it is designed to be tied through a sold rappel anchor to a lead climbing rope and then used purely as a "pull-down" cord to be able to retrieve a single lead climbing rope after completing a rappel. Not to be run through a belay/rappel device.
